DISNEY'S MARY POPPINS JR. ~ The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that, "Anything can happen if you let it." Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins JR. is an enchanting mixture of irresistible story, unforgettable songs and breathtaking dance numbers.

Your favorite practically perfect nanny takes center stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious adventure based on the award-winning Broadway musical and classic Walt Disney film. Based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the Broadway musical that played for over 2,500 performances and received multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations, Disney and Cameron
Mackintosh's Mary Poppins is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical!

March rehearsals might be every night, depending on how well the cast is doing at that time. We will add some weekend rehearsals especially for dance, if necessary. THERE WILL ALSO BE DANCE REHEARSAL ON SATURDAY, MARCH 26, 2022 WHILE FLIGHT REHEARSAL IS OCCURRING FOR ALL OTHER CHARACTERS. Rehearsal dates are subject to change. We want to have the entire cast at ALL of our final tech rehearsals, so please be open and honest when completing your auditioner’s conflict calendar. These dates are Friday, April 1 and April 4-April 7. Please be sure to fill out all of the conflicts for your child from the audition date through the final performance date. If you have any questions about the information provided here, please ask ahead of time by emailing the Director, Debbie Emling, at kvtamarypoppins@gmail.com. If you can perform tumbling without assistance or have any training in TAP, please let us know by listing that on your audition sheet (although we will make our decisions on tap callbacks based on the dance auditions, too). We will list auditioners we would like to see tap at callbacks on the callback list.
