KVTA'S YOUTH SUMMER THEATRE CAMP!

KVTA's 2025 Youth Summer Theatre Camp presents DARE TO DREAM JR, a Disney Musical Revue from Music Theatre International! Every camper will be a part of this musical revue which is inspired by Disney's favorite musicals.

We're looking for campers to join our theatre family and have a fabulous theatre camp experience. We will be putting on a fun show with choreography, group numbers, and even some solo/small ensemble opportunities as well as learning theatre skills. Space is limited to 25 campers in each time slot and each session usually fills up within hours. So don't delay!!!

PART 1

COMPLETE THE ONLINE GOOGLE REGISTRATION FORM - THIS SAVES US TIME AND ENSURES WE HAVE ALL OF THE CORRECT INFORMATION FOR YOUR CAMPER.

PART 2

COMPLETE YOUR PAYMENT ONLINE BY 10 PM ON SUNDAY, MARCH 2. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED TO SUBMIT YOUR PAYMENT UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR GOOGLE FORM. YOUR RESERVATION WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNTIL YOUR PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE IN FULL. A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOU BY MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3, TO CONFIRM YOUR REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT.

Campers are expected to attend all days of camp, including tech day, and their assigned performance.
Eligible Age: Campers must be 8 and no older than 17 by the first day of camp (June 16, 2025)
Price: $175 non-refundable fee. Deadline for registration is March 2 or until the camp is full, whichever comes first.
Each camper receives a free Summer Camp t-shirt.
Campers can bring their own water bottle every day, if needed. No water will be provided.
Camp families will be able to purchase 4 tickets at the first meeting before they are offered to the public.
A placement audition will be held for all campers to determine which role each camper will be cast in.
Placement auditions are tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, at 5:30 pm for AM/PM campers and at 7:30 pm for Evening campers.
Performances will take place on June 28 and 29. The AM campers will perform June 28 at 2 pm and the PM campers will perform June 28 at 6 pm. The evening campers will perform June 29 at 2 pm.
Campers will be sent audition information prior to the auditions.
Scripts and specific parts will be given out at the mandatory parent/guardian/cast meeting that will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 6:30 pm.
Campers should have music memorized as much as possible by the first day of camp, so they can concentrate on learning choreography, improving their vocal performance, their characterization, participate in theatre games, developing friendships, etc.

All participants, onstage or offstage, will be required to sign KVTA's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Social Media, and Sexual Harassment Policies. An Emergency Card and Waiver of Liability must also be completed and signed in order to participate. These forms will be distributed when you first volunteer with KVTA. CAMP VOLUNTEER INFORMATION:

Running a theatre camp and putting on a performance requires many people. We are looking for volunteers to assist with one or both camps. We need parents/adults who can help us one day or every day during camp. Volunteers help with kid patrol, costumes, make-up, props, set construction/decorating, stage crew, etc.
